I’m from London and want to take my parents to a carribbean island. I’ve just graduated so I can’t spend too much! Which island is better (good activities for the older people, less crowding) and which are the cheaper areas/hotels there?

Barbados is a lovely place to visit since its culture and history is almost like Britain. We are called ‘little England’ and many places here have British names. We also have Lord Nelson statue which is older than the one in London.
You can take them on a nice educational tour around the island, I am sure they will enjoy it. Additionally you can take them to Tropical Spectacular dinner and floor show.
There are some reasonable places to stay on the south coast. Do not choose any in St. Lawrence Gap since there have many nightclubs there so it might disturb their rest and relaxation. In my opinion the hotels on the west coast might be more expensive but you can check it out for yourself. The nearer to Sandy Lane the more expensive.
I hope you decide to stay here, find some place reasonable and enjoy your stay on our beautiful island.

Hi!
I am in love with the Caribbean. Two of the islands you mention : Antigua and Barbados rate as some of my favorites. Antigua has a high desert of sorts with one of the most fascinating overlooks in the Caribbean. Barbados I have visited several times while on a cruise vacation. I especially like the people on Barbados as being so friendly. Bother islands hide the very poor inhabitants in the background but do not miss out on getting to where the real people live. That is the best way to get the real flavor of these islands.

Antigua.
Barbados is farther away from London. lots to do. if you had $ you could send them to sandals Mediterranean village. but you don’t.
the Bahamas is very popular. lot’s of Americans go there since it is close so it’s definitely crowded.
come to Antigua. it is a great place for an anniversary.
